The fast-casual artisanal pizza concept known for its chef-driven menu and casually hip restaurants, has locations in Paramus and Wayne.
The store offered free, build-your-own pizzas on Nov. 18 to all of its social media followers.
To celebrate the grand opening, the restaurant will offer free build-your-own artisanal pizzas on Friday, Nov. 18, from 11a.m. to 10 p.m. to anyone who follows Blaze Pizza on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook.
The restaurant, which has seating for 60, is in Teterboro Landing (5 Teterboro Landing Drive) next to WalMart and Costco across from Teterboro Airport.
It features an interactive open-kitchen format that allows guests to customize one of the menu’s signature pizzas or create their own, choosing from a wide selection of fresh, artisanal ingredients. The personal pizzas are then sent to a blazing hot open-flame oven – the centerpiece of the restaurant – where the thin-crust pies are fast-fire’d and ready to eat in just 180 seconds.
"It's a modern day pizza joint," said Jordan McMeen, management partner. "It's all made fresh, right in front of you. And people can watch it cook in the oven."
Almost all of the pizza and salad ingredients are free of artificial flavors, colors, preservatives and fillers. For pizza fans with specific dietary needs, Blaze Pizza offers gluten-free dough and vegan cheese. Diners can top off the meal with a hot and gooey s'mores pie for dessert.
Blaza Pizza also has restaurants in Paramus and Wayne, and can be found on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
